🌍 Travel & Food - My Way of Experiencing the World

I've always been interested in the world since I was a child. I like to stroll in strange cities and feel the surprises brought by different cultures. I also like to relax myself in nature and let the mountains, rivers, lakes and seas wash away life's troubles. Every time I travel, I look forward to learning something new. Whether it is the breathtaking scenery or the unique local cultures, it makes me feel the world is so colorful.






Of course, the highlight of traveling is food! Whenever I go to a new place, I will try the most typical local dishes. Whether it is honey barbecued pork in Hong Kong, China, China's roasted beef and lamb in Xinjiang, Germany's sausages or English breakfast in the UK, I am willing to explore the world with my taste buds. I believe that real food is not just the pleasure of the taste buds, but also the collision of the soul, the peak of culture, and the crystallization of time and emotion.





🐶 My Love for Animals

If there is one thing that you should know about me, it's that I am a absolutely dog lover! Their loyalty, playfulness and unconditional love make them my best companions. Whether it's spending time with my furry friends at home or meeting cute strays on my travels, I always have fun connecting with these lovely animals.




🎓 My Academic Journey

Education has had a major impact on my worldview. I completed my undergraduate studies in China and came to Newcastle University in the UK in 2024 to pursue a master's degree in education. 

Studying abroad not only allowed me to accept different educational concepts, but also allowed me to experience different cultural atmospheres. For me, education is not only the transmission of knowledge, but also a force that affects life. I hope that through my studies and experiences, I can help more people grow and make education a bridge connecting the world.



🏙️ My Hometown: Shanghai

Shanghai, this prosperous and charming city, is my hometown. Not only is it the economic hub of China, but also a symbol of the blend of Eastern and Western cultures. There is the century-old Bund, as well as the modern Lujiazui skyline; there is the everyday charm of Shanghai's alleyways, as well as the fashion and vitality of an international metropolis. The unique charm of Shanghai makes it a place that countless people yearn for, and it has deeply influenced my growth.

Shanghai's origin dates back millennia, but the true ascendance started with the opening of the port in the 19th century. The once small fishing village has grown into an international metropolis, having experienced earth-shaking developments. The Bund's European-style architecture is testament to the ancient "Ten Miles of Foreign Lands", while the old buildings in the Temple of the City God speak of the profound traditional culture of Shanghai.






Shanghai is also a paradise for food, since Shanghai specialties such as Crab Roe Xiaolongbao, Shengjianbao, Scallion Oil Noodles. Of course, Shanghai not only enjoys local snacks, but also food from all over the world, including French cuisine, Japanese cuisine, Korean barbecue and even South American flavors from the other side of the earth.




For me, Shanghai is not merely a city, it is where I was born and raised, and my hometown. Wherever I am in the world, the taste, sound and memory of Shanghai are always with me.
